I would like to thank the Moline Ramada Hotel and Convention Center for allowing us to
hold GamerCon® in their facilities. I would expect that all GamerCon® attendees
help us to keep this location for future gaming events by acting in a mature
manner. Our convention is held within a hotel so please act appropriately.
Costumes: Attendees may wear
costumes if they are appropriate to a public function, please refrain
from wearing any current military uniforms, or anything obviously
offensive to the general public. Attendees wearing inappropriate
costumes or clothing will be asked to change. Weapons and weapon
replicas will not be allowed.
GamerCon® General Rules:
1. Convention badges must be displayed on person at all
times, no exceptions. Due to security and liability reasons, if you do not have a badge you may be asked to
purchase another.
2. Badges are required to enter the
convention space as well as play games. See registration to sign up for a
game.
3. Costumes are allowed (see above), but no weapons, or weapon
replicas are permitted.
4. No unauthorized sales of merchandise are
permitted. Please respect our vendors.
5. Outside Food and Drink are
only permitted when the hotel restaurant is closed!
6. No alcoholic
beverages or controlled substances permitted.
7. Smoking is permitted
outside in designated areas per the hotel.
8. No lewd or
inappropriate language.
9. No pets allowed.
10. Convention
organizers are not responsible for accidents or lost or stolen
items.
11. No one under 10 years of age admitted without parental
supervision.
12. Convention organizers reserve the right to remove
anyone from GamerCon® without refund.
